Trader Yosef’s (Guest Blog)

24 Oct

Having opened only a little over a month ago, Trader Joe’s brought a tremendous amount of additional cut-rate culinary culture to the Sarasota area. Their variety of pleasing gourmet food for less (thanks to their independently created products) is a definite catch to the fine palettes of our community. Although I was moderately familiar with the store as it accommodated my grocery habits while living in San Francisco, I never noticed how incredible their kosher food selection truly is! We’re talking about a seven page list of kosher products that this store provides. Not to forget, any product that is made under the Trader Joe’s label is additionally promised to have NO artificial flavors/colors/preservatives, NO MSG, NO genetically
modified ingredients and NO added Trans Fats. Where else can you get such a food variety that includes all of those features? For me, that is well-deserving of the unofficial nickname,Trader Yosef’s (the Hebrew counterpart name for Joseph).

Whatever your kosher habits may be, be sure to check out Trader Joe’s kosher variety here, or even better, in their store (4101 S Tamiami Trail Sarasota, FL 34231).

I am curious to know which of Trader Yosef’s kosher products you would be
interested in trying or better yet, have already tried and have made your favorite. Personally, I love their mouthwatering (kosher) Mini Peanut Butter Cups. Let me know what you think!
